How can I get started?

Book your Initial Intake Appointment on our site or give us a call at 614-957-3321. This allows you to openly discuss your challenges and ask questions to determine if one of our therapist is the best fit to help you on your journey. Once you determine you’d like to move forward, we will schedule your intake appointment.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time we do not offer in-person services. We only offer telehealth (video) services via a secure platform. 

What do I need in order to attend a telehealth session?

All you need is a private space, good Internet access, and an electronic device with camera and microphone access. All video sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant portal. You can access sessions via any web browser.

What can I expect during my first therapy session in private practice?

During the first intake session, you will typically discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and the therapist's approach. It's a chance for both you and your therapist to begin building rapport and trust.

How long do therapy sessions in private practice usually last?

Therapy sessions typically last between 45 minutes to 1 hour, on a weekly or bi-weekly basis but session length and frequency can vary depending on the therapist's policies and your specific needs.

What is the cost per session?

Fee's are as followed for self/cash pay:

Initial Assessment $150 (first appointment only)

55 Minute Therapy Session $125

45 Minute Therapy Session $115

Do you accept insurance?

Check the "insurance" page in the menu bar to see our in-network insurance. In-network insurance plans vary by the clinician. If you use insurance, your payment will depend on your specific plan. You are responsible for verifying your coverage and confirming the details of your copay, coinsurance, and deductible. Your portion of the payment is due at the time of service. You are also responsible for confirming that your plan covers telehealth (video) sessions with your specific therapist. 

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a therapy session?

We ask that you cancel your appointment 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If canceled later than 24 hours or there is a no call no show you will be charged a $50 cancellation or no show fee.

What If I Have A Crisis, Can I Call You?

Crisis counseling is not offered but we will provide you with crisis support information if needed. We are also happy to help you reach crisis support during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST). If you’re having a medical or mental health emergency please call 911. If you’re having thoughts of suicide please call 988 to speak with the suicide crisis line.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
